Terms
RETAINER: Upon completing this form, you will receive an invoice via email for your retainer(s) and studio fees (if they apply). Each session requires a $300 retainer to hold your date. Your invoice can be paid via credit, debit or ACH. You can also pay via Venmo (https://account.venmo.com/u/kelliportercreative). Your retainer will be credited towards your photo session balance and your retainer is not refundable unless
- rain/lightning prevent the session from taking place
- The unlikely chance that the photographer is unable to fulfill contract due to illness or injury
FUTURE PAYMENTS: Your session balance is due by the end of your session. Flexible, interest-free payment plans are available. You can pay via cash, check, Venmo or e-invoice (credit, debit, ACH).
ADDITIONAL PHOTOS: Your session includes your choice of photos 10 or 20 photos. Additional photos can be purchased after you view your gallery. Individual photos are $45 each and full gallery upgrades are $300
SCHEDULING: Please hold the 5 to 7:30 p.m. time frame. An exact time will be sent to you via email or text closer to your shoot date. Dates might need to shift if mother nature doesn't cooperate. The call on weather will be made on the afternoon of your session. If weather is a challenge and the new dates don't work for your family, you will have the choice of receiving a refund or rescheduling to an alternate date.
LATE ARRIVALS: Fall flower sessions work by booking multiple families back-to-back so arriving early so we can start on time is very important. If you arrive late, there likely won't be time to recover your missed time.
PAYMENTS: Your deposit is due at the time of booking. Your remaining balance for your session is due before your session takes place. If you choose to purchase additional photos, full payment for the additional photos is needed before the photos will be released. Payments can be made via Venmo, cash, check or credit card. Payment plans are are also available by request.
COPYRIGHT: Your session includes printing rights to purchased photos. Photo will be delivered in high resolution JPEG format. The photos delivered are not to be edited by the client or other person. RAW files are not provided. The photographer retains copyrights to all photos and the photographer reserves the right to post photos to digital platforms (social media, website, etc.) unless client specifies otherwise in writing within 7 days of gallery delivery.
GALLERIES: Photo selection galleries will be sent to you 2-4 weeks after your session. Rush editing is available for an additional charge. Ask for more information on this option if this is something you’re interested in.
PHOTO STORAGE: Please download and back up your photos (more information on this is provided in the photo management guide you'll receive with your gallery). Once purchased photos are delivered, the photographer does not guarantee copies of your photos will be retained beyond 90 days. Online galleries are also not meant for long term storage and are only guaranteed for 90 days. If you gallery is decommissioned and you request for it to be rebuilt, a $75 gallery build fee will likely apply to cover the time required to rebuild your gallery.
ILLNESS: The health and safety of my families is very important. If you or a member of your family becomes ill, has any COVID-19 symptoms, has COVID-19 exposure or becomes injured and you need an alternate date, please notify me ASAP and we can explore options for rescheduling your session.
OUTDOOR TIMING: Most outdoor sessions are schedule during "golden hour" which is an hour or two before sunset or an hour or two after sunrise. Timing is very important when it comes to my photography style. If you choose to move the time of your session to another time that is outside golden hour, please know that the look of your photos may vary due to harsher lighting conditions.
