DOWNLOADS:
Important - When downloading photos for prints and storage, make sure you download the original resolution photos to a computer. When you order prints, be sure to upload the photos from your computer. Your phone will compress the files and will result in a loss of quality.
The number of downloads is unlimited so feel free to share your gallery link with friends and family.

STORAGE:
Your gallery is only meant for temporary storage for the purpose of sharing and downloading photos and will not remain online indefinitely. Please download and back up all your photos within 90 days of receiving your gallery. If you need more time, just let me know before the end of your 60 days and I am happy to extend your gallery.
If you gallery expires and has to be rebuilt, a $99 fee will apply to cover the time it takes to export all your photos again and recreate the gallery.
If you’d like a USB drive, you can purchase one through the online store in your gallery (see below).
PROFESSIONAL PRINTS & PRODUCTS (purchased through your gallery store):
STORE - Your gallery now includes a store where you can order professional-quality prints and products quickly and easily. Just look for the shopping cart icon when you’re in your gallery.
PRINTS - Printed on Kodak or Fuji professional-grade archival paper for increased color, sharpness and brilliant image quality. These are the highest quality archival prints that have a longevity of 100 years in typical display conditions and 200 years in dark storage.
PRODUCTS - I offer canvas, framed gallery prints, photo books, cards (holiday, baby, graduation) and more.
DIY PRINTS:
Important - As mentioned earlier, when downloading photos for prints and storage, make sure you download the original resolution photos to a computer. When you order prints, be sure to upload the photos from your computer. Your phone will compress the files and will result in a loss of quality.
Quality - Not all photo prints are created equal but you also don’t have to pay a lot for quality prints. Unfortunately, a lot of “photo centers” like CVS, Walgreens, Target and Walmart have moved to low-quality photo printers which will make your beautiful photos blurry and dull. I do highly recommend the labs listed below because they’re high quality and priced competitively…
Mpix is my #1 recommendation. They have great customer service, great quality, a huge assortment of products and their shipping is fast. Click here to get $10 off your Mpix order (the coupon may take a few seconds to load).
If you prefer to stay local or need prints the same day, I recommend McAlister Photoworks in Dublin or Midwest Photo near Clintonville.
Color Correction - Most photo labs will autocorrect the colors of your photos which will usually drastically change the look of your photos. You’ll want to make sure the autocorrect feature is turned OFF when ordering your photos. The autocorrect options is typically a checkbox option as you check out online or may be located in your account settings.
Finish - Most labs will give you the options of matte, glossy, or luxe/e-surface. I always recommend E-surface (if you’re ordering through mpix.com) or matte.
Cropping - Please DO NOT crop your photos on your own unless slight cropping is needed due to print dimensions (see below). Significant cropping of photos will reduce the quality of your photos.
Print Dimensions - All print sizes have different aspect ratios so if you order a 4 x 6 print you’ll see your full photo in your print where a 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 print will require some cropping. Some photo labs will automatically crop your photos which can result in unflattering results. Always make sure your photos are positioned the way you want them as you switch between print sizes. The example below shows how different print sizes would crop out important parts of the photo.
KEEPING YOUR PHOTOS SAFE:
Backing up your photos and videos is VERY IMPORTANT. You simply need a hard drive and/or cloud storage platform. One of the best ways to approach backing up your data is the 3-2-1 strategy so you’re protected in case of fire, flood or theft:
3: Have three copies of your data.
2: Keep them in two separate places.
1: At least one must be offsite to protect against fire, flood or theft.
The following website gives more details on how to securely back-up your photos and videos - https://digital-photography-school.com/create-solid-backup-strategy-photos/
