EAST MEADOW (WESTERVILLE)

A beautiful, tall grass meadow surrounded by woods. This location can be paired with Tall Pines (pictured next). Just a short walk from the parking lot and pet friendly.

TALL PINES (WESTERVILLE)

An amazing pine forest that’s beautiful at sunrise or sunset. Can be paired with the East Meadow (pictured above). Pet-friendly.

THE WOODS (LEWIS CENTER)

A breathtaking wooded path and meadow that are very colorful in late October.

THE BEACH + MEADOWS (LEWIS CENTER)

This is one of my most popular locations because it has lots of variety and is pretty year round. There’s two meadows (a tall grass meadow pictured first and a short grass meadow pictured last), a beach and lots of open space. There’s also typically some flowers but they vary by season. The sky’s color at sunrise is a warm (see maternity photos with the cream dress) and the sky’s color during sunset is always a surprise. This location is pet friendly.

QUARRY (UPPER ARLINGTON)

This unique location is beautiful at sunset. It’s an option that has nice fall colors even after the leaves fall (the sessions below was shot in mid-November. It’s pet-friendly.

HIGHBANKS METRO PARK (LEWIS CENTER)

Looking for a unique location that the kids’ will enjoy exploring? Let’s go to the creek. This location is less accessible than the others since most paths are unpaved and creek shots require going up and down an incline but if you don’t mind going off the beaten path you’ll be rewarded with beautiful photos. Pet-friendly.

OLENTANGY TRAIL (LEWIS CENTER)

This gorgeous location is overflowing with natural beauty. It’s very secluded and you’re more likely to see deer than humans. It does require a half mile hike up and down a hill with a gravel road so it’s not stroller friendly but it’s pet-friendly.

NORTH TRAIL (DELAWARE)

A wooded trail with lots of water views and great fall color. Best at sunset. This location is pet-friendly.

THE LAGOON (LEWIS CENTER)

A wooded lagoon that’s beautiful at sunset. Pet-friendly.

THE RAVINE (DELAWARE)

A ravine and woods that’s full of leaves, logs and beautiful views. This location is best before sunset so it’s great for families who need an earlier start time. Pet-friendly.

THE SOUTH MEADOW (WESTERVILLE)

A small meadow with tall grasses, walking path and lots of trees. Best at sunset.

INNISWOOD METRO GARDENS (WESTERVILLE)

The gardens are always overflowing with seasonal blooms and foliage. There’s ample greenery, beautiful gardens, a meadow, a grassy nook, pine forrest, stone bridge, gazebo, brick buildings and walking paths. This gardens do get very busy when the weather is nice and during prom and homecoming season. This location is easily accessible but no pets are allowed.

HISTORIC UPTOWN (WESTERVILLE)

Uptown has lots of beautiful brick walls, an ivy walls, an antique theater marquee, fire escapes, cobblestone streets and lots of character. This location is easily accessible but you will get your steps in as we move from one location to another.

EVERAL BARN (WESTERVILLE)

The historic property has a pond, large willow trees, a large white barn and several brick buildings which offers a lot of variety. This location is easily accessible.

COFFMAN HOMESTEAD (DUBLIN)

This setting has a historic barn, homestead and green space that are beautiful at sunset. Close to parking and easy to access with a stroller.

SCIOTO MILE (DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS)

The Scioto Mile is a stunning location for photos. There’s lots of architecture, walkways, bridges and beautiful green spaces. This location is easily accessible.

PARK OF ROSES (CLINTONVILLE)

The roses typically start blooming in late May and bloom through the summer.

FRANKLIN PARK CONSERVATORY (BEXLEY)

Very accessible and usually full of seasonal flowers. Can get busy, especially on the weekends.

GERMAN VILLAGE

These photos were taken in November. Summer photos are coming soon! Historic homes, brick sidewalks and lots of flowers and greenery. Classically beautiful for families or seniors who want a more structured look.

IRON BRIDGE (GAHANNA)

Near Creekside but less busy. Warm tones and greenery all around.

WILDFLOWER FIELD (DUBLIN + PATASKALA)

These flowers typically bloom in early August and early October.

TREE FARM

These sessions are typically scheduled in October and November. My favorite tree farms are in Sunbury and Lewis Center.

SUNFLOWERS

The flowers typically bloom in August and September.

POPPY FIELD (NEAR YELLOW SPRINGS)

They bloom in early June, if they bloom. Some years they do and some years they don’t.
